What is the difference between a matte film and a ceramic film?
The main difference between a ceramic screen protector and a matte screen protector lies in their visual properties. A ceramic screen protector protects the screen from scratches and is transparent, maintaining full touch sensitivity, but it doesn't eliminate fingerprints or reflections. A matte screen protector, on the other hand, also protects the screen from scratches, but has a satin finish that removes fingerprints and reduces reflections, thus improving readability in bright environments without affecting touch sensitivity. In summary, a ceramic screen protector offers basic protection, while a matte screen protector additionally enhances the screen's usability and aesthetics.

What does the process of applying a screen protector look like?
Applying the screen protector is easy: First, thoroughly clean the screen and then remove the middle protective layer with the START sticker. Position the protector, aligning it perfectly on each side, and smooth the center of the protector with your finger. While pressing down one part of the protector with your hand, peel off the next layer of the START film underneath. Then, firmly press down the other part of the protector and remove the remaining START layer. Finally, peel off the FINISH layer by grasping the sticker and sliding the protective film parallel to the screen. Press out any remaining air bubbles with a squeegee. If you need to remove dust from under the protector, use DUSTSTIX. Instructional video -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cUVFWGVFyXo
How is the PianoSkin foil applied to piano-black elements?
Wet installation is simple. Thoroughly clean the desired interior element with PianoCleaner and a microfiber cloth. Then, apply PianoSkin Installer evenly to the entire surface of the element where the PianoSkin film will be applied. Using the START strip, remove all backing layers marked with the red, round sticker. Apply PianoSkin Installer again to the exposed portion of the film. Carefully position the film on the element – the gel used allows for precise positioning. If the film has stabilizing bridges, carefully remove them to prevent deformation of the previously aligned film. If the film has no stabilizing bridges, skip this step. Now, using a squeegee, smooth out the excess gel from the center outwards in a consistent motion; be careful not to press too hard to avoid damaging the adhesive. Remove the next backing layer and repeat the steps from step 4. Carefully clean the covered area by removing excess adhesive with a cloth and piano cleaner, without peeling off the newly applied film. For the final result, wait 12 to 24 hours, as the adhesive layer will fully relax during this time, depending on the specific environmental conditions.
